Scope of Telemedicine Services
Telemedicine at QuickCare 365 allows patients to consult with licensed healthcare professionals, receive diagnoses, and access treatments through secure telecommunication technologies, including interactive audio, video, and electronic platforms. By using these services, you acknowledge that:
- You are voluntarily engaging with QuickCare 365 to facilitate your medical care.
- You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information about your medical history, lifestyle, and symptoms.
- Services may involve medical professionals in various locations.
- Telemedicine services are not suitable for all medical conditions and may require referral for in-person care when deemed necessary.
Limitations of Telemedicine
- Telemedicine services provided by QuickCare 365 are not intended to replace in-person evaluations when such care is necessary.
- If the healthcare provider determines that an in-person consultation is required, you will be referred to a local provider or facility.
- QuickCare 365 is not an emergency care provider. For emergencies, you must immediately contact emergency services at 911 or visit the nearest medical facility.
Potential Risks of Telemedicine
While QuickCare 365 employs advanced security protocols to protect patient data, you acknowledge the following potential risks:
- Errors or delays in diagnosis or treatment due to technological disruptions or incomplete medical information.
- Unauthorized access or data breaches, despite robust encryption and security measures. QuickCare 365 cannot guarantee absolute protection against risks associated with electronic communication.
Patient Responsibilities
- Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide honest and accurate medical information during consultations. Failure to do so may affect the quality of care provided.
- Follow-Up Care: You are responsible for following up on care recommendations and seeking further evaluation if advised by your provider.
- Emergencies: You understand that telemedicine is not a substitute for emergency care and agree to seek in-person treatment for urgent conditions.
Fees, Payment, and Refund Policy
- Fees: Consultation fees cover the evaluation and recommendations provided during the telemedicine session. Additional services such as prescriptions or referrals are not included in the consultation fee.
- Order Cancellations: If you cancel your request before it has been reviewed by a healthcare provider, you are eligible for a full refund.
- Inability to Provide Care: If QuickCare 365 cannot provide a treatment recommendation due to insufficient information or other medical reasons, you will receive a full refund.
- No Refunds for Completed Services: Once a consultation is completed, cancellations or refunds are not permitted.
- Discretionary Refunds: Refund requests outside these criteria will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of our medical team.
Liability and Disclaimer
- QuickCare 365 does not guarantee specific outcomes or complete resolution of medical concerns.
- You acknowledge that telemedicine services are provided “as is” and accept that results may vary depending on individual circumstances.
- QuickCare 365, its affiliates, and healthcare providers are released from liability for any claims arising from telemedicine services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
- Any disputes related to QuickCare 365 services will be resolved through binding arbitration. By agreeing to these terms, you waive the right to a jury trial.
Acknowledgment and Consent
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you:
- Confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
- Consent to receive telemedicine services from QuickCare 365.
- Release QuickCare 365, its providers, and affiliates from liability for claims arising from telemedicine services, except where prohibited by law.
